"Days of Our Lives" is scheduled to be back on Aug. 22 at 1 p.m. on NBC after being out of its usual schedule due to Rio Olympics 2016. The trailer revealed a series of changes that will happen in the lives of the main casts.

"Days of Our Lives" will see Theresa and Brady (Eric Martsolf) delighted over finally finding their son Tate. However, Victor (John Aniston) was revealed to be the person behind the kidnapping and is now put to jail. Things will still not go out so well for Theresa and Brady because Kate (Lauren Koslow), Orpheus (George DelHoyo) and Xander (Paul Telfer) had escaped prison and returned just in time of the couple's wedding, Hof Mag reported.

Clyde (James Read), Ben's (Robert Scott Wilson) father, will then focus on the three villains who will crash the wedding and destroy the Donovan sisters. Xander will threaten to kill Theresa while Orpheus appeared in the church, holding Eve (Kassie DePaiva) and a gun in his hands in "Days of our Lives."

Meanwhile, things are getting hot and heavy in "Days of our Lives" between Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Deimos (Vincent Irizarry). However, their happy relationship gets hit by the truth uncovered about Chloe's (Nadia Bjorlin) pregnancy.

Kayla's (Mary Beth Evans) head injury, on the other hand, which she got from Ava months ago will finally cause a dramatic toll on her. Her life now could be in danger which will devastate Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Joey (James Lastovic), Inquisitr reported.

There is a lot to see on "Days of our Lives" as Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) and Andre's (Thaao Penghlis) plan to make him the DA will be successful. Since Aiden will no longer be with Hope (Kristian Alfonso) romantically, he will expose the truth about Hope's crimes.

"Days of our Lives" will see a grieving Chad (Billy Flynn) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) who both resorted to vices when Abigail allegedly died in a plane crash. However, everything will put to pause as a new Abigail (Marci Miller) with a new face arrives in town. Watch the official Aug. 22 trailer here.
