iPad Mini 5 and iPad Air 3 are suggested to be launched along with the iPhone 7. Given that there is a huge possibility that the supposed September release of the iPhone 7 will have some other devices riding on it, it makes sense that both gadgets will be deployed at the same time as both devices cater to a more portable inclined market.

The iPad Mini 5 is expected to be a success considering the history of its predecessors but Apple has not confirmed its plan for its launch. However, looking at the previous launch dates of the earlier generations, it can be anticipated that the launch will be in September.

In 2015, Sept. 9 launch of the flagship products iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s was earlier than anticipated. Thus, this year's launch may also follow the same pattern, Mobile & Apps reported.

Aside from the iPad Mini 5, there have been numerous rumors about the release of ipad Air 3 earlier this year. It was expected to be revealed during Apple's low-key March event which brought out consumer-friendly products mostly, including the iPad Pro in both 12.9in and 9.7in version.

When Apple released an iPad Pro in the same 9.7in form factor as the iPad Air, speculations arise that the company will be retiring the iPad Air range in favor of smaller iPad Pro variants, IT Pro reported. The iPad Air is reportedly one of Apple's most popular lines with over 200 million tablets sold in the Air's 9.7in form factor.

Since iPad Air 3 did not make an appearance as expected during the previous Apple events, Apple is suggested to be looking to drop the iPad Air 3 sometime in October. This may also prompt the company to release the iPad Mini 5 with it for a more cohesive marketing ploy. Watch the Apple iPad Air 3 rumors & expectations here.
