A "Mr. Robot" game for iOS and Android devices was teased by developer Telltale through a Facebook post. Telltale posted a video and mentioned that the antagonist in "Mr. Robot" E Corp (Evil Corp) will have a messaging app arriving to iOS and Android devices on Aug. 17.

However, it does not seem that Telltale will be the ones developing the messaging app despite the fact that they were the one who announced and promoted it. In a Twitter post, it seems that developer Night School will take charge of the said "Mr. Robot" game for iOS and Android devices. Night School's previous work includes the game Oxenfree. Telltale, on the other hand, will be acting as the project's publisher, Gamespot reported.

In addition, a new Twitter account named @ecorpmessaging has been created for the "Mr. Robot" new messaging app. Fans can follow the account for more information on the messaging app leading up to its August launch, PC Gamer reported.

Meanwhile, "Mr. Robot" Season 2 currently airs in the United States. In the season's opening episode, a flashback scene from before the events of the first season was showed. Elliot and Darlene was seen celebrating an impromptu family reunion by watching the film "The Careful Massacre of the Bourgeoisie."

It then turned out that the killer from the movie wore the moneyman mask which was eventually embraced as a symbol in its society. When Elliot played a copy given to him by his sister, the monster was unleashed. Then, Elliot's posture straightened and his low energy voice grew raspier and more strident. His vowels and Rs sharpened but he is no longer Elliot, he is now "Mr. Robot."

"Mr. Robot's" transformation was striking. The horror movie played by Elliot had an orchestral music cue. The music accompanied the appearance of the "Mr. Robot" logo in the credits which completes its supernatural effect. Watch the "Mr. Robot" Season 2 trailer here.
