"Gotham" Season 3 Spoilers: Exec Producer Reveals Extended Story Arc, Major Character Metamorphosis; Bruce Wayne Doppelganger Knows Heroes' Deep Secrets?
ByExecutive producer John Stephens revealed that "Gothams" Season 3's story arcs will be extended than the previous season. He added that the storyline will become more serialized with every character going through major metamorphosis.
Stephens, the "Gotham" Season 3 producer, also revealed that the upcoming season will run for 11 episodes. In January 2017, the series will have three episodes, and eight more including the final run in Spring 2017.
"Gotham" Season 3 plot has also been revealed about Detective Jim Gordon. Ben McKenzie told audiences during an interview in San Diego Comic Con that the character will become an iconic DC character.
McKenzie's interview surprised his fellow cast members about Detective Gordon on "Gotham" Season 3. He said that somewhere in the season his character will become a different persona, becoming more physical than ever. McKenzie's character may turn into a bounty hunter and pose threats in Gotham.
Aside from Detective Gordon's change in persona for the upcoming "Gotham" Season 3, he will be in deep relationship troubles with his girlfriend Leslie "Lee" Thompkins, played by Morena Baccarin.
In "Gotham" Season 3, Baccarin's character may find someone else. She stated that "Gotham" Season 3 will start off with her not being with Jim Gordon and might suggest she found a new lover.
During the interview, the cast shared that the narrative for "Gotham" Season 3 will be "Heroes Will Fall." This narrative is speculated that the show may or may not make some super heroes into villains, Following The Nerd reported.
For a short recap of the show, the villainous Dr. Hugo Strange played by B.D. Wong, brought to life from the dead a bunch of villains. Such as Fish Mooney, played by Jada Pinkett Smith and Bruce Wayne's doppelganger.
"Gotham" Season 3 will show how Bruce Wayne's doppelganger possess the same characteristics, manners, and physical appearance of Wayne, but differs entirely. Stephens, executive producer of the show said that in "Gotham" Season 3, Wayne's doppelganger is a villain who knows that he is created for a reason. This doppelganger will affect Batman's young self and Selina.
"Gotham" Season 3 shows on Sept. 19, Monday. Comic Book reported. It will focus on the Court of Owls and repercussions of Dr. Strange's experiments.
