"Kingdom Hearts 3" has not revealed a release information yet. However, the good news is the series will not release unnecessary cliffhangers or spin-offs. The third installment will pick-up from where the "Kingdom Hearts" storyline released 10 years ago.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" director Tai Yasue said that the upcoming game installment will sew together the lose strands and strings of the previous installments. According to him, a Dark Seeker saga and the group of Xehanort will be featured. These groups against Keyblade masters will be in a showdown.

Following fans' extraordinary waiting period of more than a decade, together with the long list of required pre-release materials that came in different platforms, the executive producer will reportedly end the story in the upcoming series.

Meanwhile, "Kingdom Hearts 3" upcoming title will allow gamers to use new playable characters while first time gamers are suggested to enjoy the storyline even without knowledge of its previous titles. According to Yasue, "Kingdom Hearts 3" director, it is not a prerequisite for gamers to experience the initial titles of the game. The upcoming installment will still allow players to still enjoy it without following the whole arc of the previous stories.

Also, new names will be added to the selection of "Kingdom Hearts 3" characters. A report says that Xehanort and Eraqus will join the list of playable keyblade masters in the coming game.

The "Kingdom Hearts" franchise is a long running series, one starting from its first game introduced back in 2002. It has been a long wait for fans of the franchise since "Kingdom Hearts 3" was announced almost three years ago.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" release date for PS4 and Xbox One has not been announced yet. Furthermore, it appears that Square Enix has no plans to release a "Kingdom Hearts 3" PC version at the moment.
