'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Spoilers (Latest): Negans Backstory Explains His Character; Cliffhanger Death Was No Fun, Norman Reedus Reveals
By"The Walking Dead" Season 7 will be featuring Negan's backstory, a highlight that the comic book did not venture into. Jeffrey Dean Morgan revealed that although his character's past will be shown, this part of the season will be brief.
Morgan said that in "The Walking Dead" Season 7, fans will find out how he became the person that he is. Also, the backstory of how Negan and Savior operates will also be revealed, Entertainment Weekly reported.
"The Walking Dead" Season 7 star Norman Reedus also revealed that big bad Negan will have a lasting impact through the never before seen changes to the world of the series. Reedus, who portrays Daryl Dixon, also gave a hint that Negan's new rules will set up a brand new world with a complete change of power.
Reedus said that the whole world of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 has been turned upside down. He further explained that the characters who had been fighting to have a direction to live in and moral compass to live by would realize that everything is different now, Cleveland reported.
"The Walking Dead" Season 7 plot seems to follow a brand new world with the characters struggling how to go about things. The things they believe in are completely different now. They were once following a path but now, that path was ripped from their feet, Reedus said.
Reedus also said that with the characters' connection as a group is broken apart, loyalties will be deterred while their belief in one another and in themselves will be put to test. Each character in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 is completely broken and they all do not handle it the exact same way.
"The Walking Dead" Season 7 is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC. Fans will witness why Reedus said that the mystery cliffhanger death was exhausting and was no fun. It was hard for the cast members to head back to that deep and dark place to film the continuation of the controversial cliffhanger scene. Watch the "The Walking Dead" Season 7 promo here.
