'Life Is Strange' Update: Content Becomes TV Show; Engaging Gameplay, Characters, Storyline Highlighting Adventures Of Max Caulfield
By"Life is Strange" is reportedly being turned into a live action TV show. The project will reportedly be a collaboration of Legendary Digital Studios and Square Enix.
"Life Is Strange" TV Show
The "Life is Strange" TV version will be developed and produced in conjunction with Dmitri Johnson and Dan Jevons of DJ2 Entertainment. The firm is reportedly helping Sony recently with the upcoming "Sonic the Hedgehog" film.
Cory Lanier will work on the project with Greg Siegel, Senior VP Development and Production for Legendary Digital Studios. According to Siegel, "Life is Strange" is one of the rare properties with deeply engaging gameplay combined with incredibly developed characters and storylines. He added that "Life is Strange" lends itself perfectly to live-action imaginings, Polygon reported.
Jon Brooke, VP for Brand and European marketing at Square Enix, on the other hand, said that they are excited to bring the world of Arcadia Bay to life in an exciting new way. He expressed how proud and excited they are to work alongside Legendary to come up with a new version of Arcadia Bay and Blackwell Academy. It will be complete with a rich cast of "Life is Strange" realistic and believable characters.
"Life Is Strange" Storyline
"Life is Strange" is a video game that is episodic in nature. It follows the story of photography enthusiast Max Caulfield, Hollywood Reporter reported.
Caulfield is a high-school senior who discovered that she can rewind time when she was saving her best friend, Chloe Price. Both of them then went into an investigation of the mysterious disappearance of their fellow student, Rachel Amber, which then exposes a dark side to life in Arcadia Bay.
"Life is Strange" video game's first episode was launched in early 2015 with the other four parts being released over the course of 2016. The game received its fair share of critical acclaims and won a number of awards.
"Life is Strange" has garnered over 75 "Game of the Year" awards and listings. It has sold over 1 million units. Watch the "Life is Strange" trailer here.
