"Frozen 2" is expected to hit the theatres in 2018, although there is no official confirmation and speficic day yet from Disney. The famed movie's fans can instead look forward to the upcoming "Frozen" holiday special, which will be airing on ABC in Christmas 2017.

The "Frozen 2" movie production has not been reported to start yet. In June, Idina Menzel revealed to E! News that the "Frozen 2" movie script is still being written.

"Frozen 2" director Chris Buck told MTV in an interview back in 2015 that the two very strong female leads of the Disney movie will be tackling other issues that girls, boys, women and men are dealing with today. Furthermore, Buck added that when the kids watch them, they will want to watch them over and over again. If they do not put a decent message in there, they will be missing an opportunity, the director continued.

Buck, the "Frozen 2" director, also believes that while Disney movies are fun and entertaining, they carry messages which are meant to shape up the minds and morals of the young audiences.

Meanwhile, there are rumors that "Frozen 2" will show a different side of Elsa, Christian Post reported. Buck says that Elsa is starting to feel like she can open up and have fun again.

The director also emphasized that personality is what "Frozen 2" fans will see in the movie, Cinema Blend reported. Now that she has loosened up a bit and has come to terms with herself, fans will see a whole new side of her in the upcoming "Frozen 2."

"Frozen 2" is one of the most anticipated Disney animated movie. Though there are no verified details as to what "Frozen 2" movie will offer, fans continuously speculate on how its storyline will turn out. Some "Frozen 2" movie predictions make sense while some do not.
