OurMine, a hacker group who is responsible in hacking "Pokemon Go" servers, Twitter account of CEO Jack Dorsey, and Facebook account of CEO Mark Zuckerberg, targeted the technology publication, TechCrunch. As the hacker broke into TechCrunch website, they told the public that the attack was only a security text.

TechCrunch, a Verizon owned tech site, is the latest high-profile breach of the hacker group. Apparently, OurMine was able to have a publishing access to the site, which is the Wordpress content management system, The Guardian reported.

The hacker posted an image with the logo of their name under the byline of Seattle-based writer Devin Coldewey in the top banner post.

"Hello Guys, don't worry we are just testing techcrunch security, we didn't change any passwords, please contact us," they wrote.

OurMine post was published on Tuesday, July 26, at around 12.20 p,m. BST (7.20am ET), but soon removed within two hours. OurMine claimed the responsibility for hacking the social media accounts of Twitter chief executive Jack Dorsey, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Google boss Sundar Pichai.

They were also the reason why the "Pokemon Go" servers were down. The players were not able to log in as the attack hit the "Pokemon Go's" login servers, The Independent UK reported.

The group of hackers said the "Pokemon Go" will be unavailable over the weekend. After the app went back to normal, another group of hackers under the name of PoodleCorp, broke into the servers. PoodleCorp took the app down just like what OurMine did. According to some source, PoodleCorp is affiliated to OurMine.

OurMine claimed that they took down the app because they want "Pokemon Go" developers to get in touch with them. They wrote on the website that no one will play until the developers will contact them on their website. They said they want them to teach how to protect the website.
