Hillary Clinton's campaign manager Robby Mook appeared on CNN's "State Of The Union" on Saturday morning, July 23. During the interview, he accused Russians hacked the DNC, and released the information on Wikileaks. In the video, Mook said there were sources told them that Russians want Clinton's presidential rival Donald Trump to win the election, so they broke into DNC, stole emails and released it onto Wikileaks for the purpose of helping Trump.

"Sources are saying the Russians are releasing these emails for the purpose of actually Helping Donald Trump," Mook said. He added that this is not coincidental because these emails are released on the eve of the [Democratic National] Convention.

On Friday, July 22, as Hillary Clinton was about to announce her 2016 running mate, Tim Kaine, there were almost 20,000 emails released by Wikileaks, providing information such as embarrassing inside look at Democratic Party operations on the eve of the Democrats' national convention, The Washington Post reported. The leaked emails published on Wikileaks contain Democratic National Committee discussions of Clinton's chief rival for the presidential nomination, Sen. Bernie Sanders, email exchanges between party officials, journalists, and etc., and the details of perks provided to party donors attending the convention.

Wikileaks page announced that they have obtained 19,252 emails and 8,034 attachments from the top of the US Democratic National Committee via Twitter. Part of the page's introduction said, the leaked documents came from the accounts of "seven key figures" in the DNC, which include, 10,770 emails from Communications Director Luis Miranda, 3797 emails from National Finance Director Jordon Kaplan, and Finance Chief of Staff Scott Comer and many more.
