Samsung's future release for their Galaxy Note flagship, the Galaxy Note 7, has been running into a series of leaks lately.

Leaks about Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 have been rampaging especially because of its new feature: the iris scanner. Talks have been circulating about the said feature and it will either make the device or break it. When successful, it could be a big milestone in the history of the Note series.

Lately, leaks about Iris scanning in renders have been seen with subtle references. Just recently, the Galaxy Note 7's UI has allegedly been shown. Screenshots which was reported to belong to the device showed a detailed software support for the upcoming device's Iris recognition system. There were also earlier leaks showing the device's hardware which means that the rumor mill of the Galaxy note 7 has been growing, WCCF Tech reported.

However, there are limitations for the Iris scanner. The 'right conditions' must be met for it to work flawlessly. In order for the scanner to be set up, the phone must be positioned 25-30 centimeters from the user's face. The eyes must be facing the on screen circles while letting the scanner register the user's iris, Android Authority reported.

There are also leaked screenshots showing the S Pen Air command menu which features several familiar options.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7's UX interface has been also shown in the screenshot's that was previously leaked. Although the authenticity of the leakages are not clear, similar information was also displayed in an earlier leak.

The iris scanner for the Galaxy Note 7 will not work if the user is wearing spectacles or if the user has undergone eye surgery. It also does not work in sunlight. The major hindrance that the feature faced was the effectiveness, since fingerprint lock should be more intuitive usage wise.
