'Street Fighter 5' Story Mode DLC 'A Shadow Falls' Finally Released, And It's Nothing Short Of Impressive!
ByLooks like a good news for "The Street Fighter 5" players as the modding community of the hit fighting video game has not ceased churning out the content, this time adding even more "Overwatch" skins while Deadpool" joins the fray.
Roadhog seem to be an apt fit for Birdie; citing a chain grab that reminds players of what Roadhog is capable of doing in "Overwatch." Players would also be thrilled to see "Deadpool" throwing Shoryukens again, though he doesn't get an opportunity to break the fourth wall, EventHubs reported.
In January this year, Capcom divulged a post-launch update that comprised of a single-player cinematic story mode, which was slated to be available for free for all players - Capcom took the wraps of the content on Friday, July 1 via an update dubbed, "A Shadow Falls."
No doubt, it took quite some time for Capcom to release the DLC for "Street Fighter 5." Taking into consideration the title's average story, the ability to use some of the game's characters such as Juri and Balrog, compensates the players in a way, though the most interesting aspect was the filler fights against characters that had the potential of making it to the game in the future.
The fights, indeed gives a feeling of an anime episode, however the fact that they use new characters altogether make it even more intriguing, TheBitBag reported.
Cammy's sister, Decapre will most likely join the roster as she can be seen on several occasions throughout the Shadows Fall DLC story. Besides - spoiler alert - in the end, she decides to take the side of good.
Decapre, on the other hand wouldn't be that much of a surprise as it was already a DLC character in the "Street Fighter 4."
A slew of other dolls could be playable characters as well citing their out-of-the-world moves that fighting game fans would revel in. Although each character don similar costumes, their fighting styles are poles apart, which further adds to the entertainment aspect of the "Street Fighter 5" DLC despite of its flawed storytelling?
Sasuke and Santamu are the dolls that should be given greatest importance as DLC. Both characters boast completely different weapons that make for some compelling combo variations. Santamu is accompanied by a pet monkey, which should make her a playable character instantly.
Although he is never fought against in the game, Abel from the game's previous installment, "Street Fighter 4" also puts in an appearance. Regrettably, this reduces its chances of being a "Street Fighter 5" DLC character, but he was kind of outstanding all through the story, and fans would be more than happy to see the French brawler added to the roster.
Abel was a good character in the previous installment of the game and chances are he will be a good one in this game too.
"Street Fighter 5" is up for grabs on Windows PC and PS4. The Shadow Falls can be downloaded for free on Steam and PSN.
