Aside from unveiling the big changes for multiplayer, Naughty Dog recently detailed the first extensive content update for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," dubbed as the "Lost Treasures" pack.

Despite several delays which eventually pushed the debut of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" into May of this year, the much-awaited third-person shooter turned out to be a huge a success story for the publisher (Sony) and the game's developer (Naughty Dog).

It is not at all surprising that the game outsold all other titles that debuted in the month of May.

But that's not all; the game has already surpassed sales predictions set by the last notable Uncharted title. With July just a few hours away, Naughty Dog is revitalizing the experience for players by rolling out a radical update, besides releasing the first multiplayer expansion, GameRant reported.

The Lost Treasures multiplayer pack is first up for "Uncharted 4" multiplayer, marking the first dominant content delivery highlighting as part of the multiplayer road map that Naughty Dog unveiled not too long ago.

The update tots up five new weapons:

P90 - geared with an very large magazine, P90 is a full auto submachine gun
Arrowhead A3c - A full auto long-range variable rifle
Enforcer G26 - Semi-auto, boasting an extremely fast rate of fire pistol
Agarwal .40 - A compelling Semi-auto 40-caliber pistol
Harbinger Sniper - Heavy Weapon sniper gun

The update also adds more than 100 new vanity items including taunts, skins, pre-sets, the Path of Indra mystical, along with a slew of new boosters such as Gunslinger (which boosts reload speed as well as weapon swapping while rolling) or Hardened (which minimizes damage) and Enhanced Radar, Robert Cogburn noted in a post on PlayStation Blog.

For a large number of "Uncharted" fans, the most crucial change coming in this update is the inclusion of an all-new map dubbed, Sunken Ruins. Tagged as a smaller yet faster paced map, Sunken Ruins is inspired by the single player campaign just like most of the maps.

Sunken Ruins as well as all future map releases will be available to everyone for absolutely free, in a bid to keep the game's player base undivided, rather than splitting them into those with DLC and those with the content.

Update 1.08 will also fix a number of bugs besides adding a few minor updates to the experience.

The biggest changes however are a new leveling system and an all-new Ranked Team Deathmatch mode.

As several fans noticed, "Uncharted 4" multiplayer did not feature the conventional progression system, instead unlocking new items on the basis of how much they were useful during the previous match.

With the new update, experience will enable players to unlock exclusive vanity items, earn more medals and level up at every 5 levels up to a highest of 70.

Those waiting with bated breath for more details can tune in to Naughty Dog's official Twitch channel today, June 30 at 11:30 AM PT / 20:30 CET and get a glimpse of the new ranked mode.

In addition, the developers will answer any question related to the multiplayer changes.
