ByThe Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 concluded without treating fans to a sneak peek of the much-awaited sequel in the "RDR" series dubbed, "Red Dead Redemption 2." No prizes for guessing, this left fans of the hit action-adventure video game very disappointed.
The launch cancellation immediately sparked speculations centering on the reasons why the highly-anticipated sequel failed to make an appearance.
The big question however is whether the disastrous Orlando shooting incident was actually the reason why Rockstar Games opted not to reveal the "Red Dead Redemption 2" trailer as previously surfaced rumors indicated?
Last week, rumor mills swirled a slew of speculations hinting that "Red Dead Redemption 2" E3 2016 trailer launch was called off citing the horrendous Orlando shooting mishap. Apparently, the trailer encompassed violent footages interpreting a massacre in which a character shoots everyone in a saloon dead, Metro reported.
Although, the explanation seemed legit, Adam Boyes, who serves as a Third Party Relations & Developer Technology Group vice president at Sony PlayStation, rubbished the rumors, and shocked the online gaming realm by revealing that Sony PlayStation actually never intended to unveil a new Rockstar game at E3 2016.
Boyes took to his Twitter handle and divulged that "the length and content," the team behind "Red Dead Redemption" showed has not undergone any changes since a long time.
Is There A Hope For 'Red Dead Redemption 2'?
Although, Strauss Zelnick, Take-Two Interactive chief executive announced that the studio will arrive at E3 2016 event with a bang, he never claimed or even hinted that they will unveil a new game.
However, in the wake of some major "RDR 2" leaks surfacing online recently, optimistic fans are still speculating that "Red Dead Redemption 2" is currently in the making, iDigital Times reported.
