Rumors doing rounds continue to hint Rockstar will take the wraps of a highly-anticipated game during the looming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this year.

With E3 just about three weeks away, speculations that Rockstar Games will unveil "Red Dead Redemption 2," an open-world, western action-adventure video-game are doing rounds. Take-Two Interactive (Rockstar Games' parent company), on the other hand has been trotting out that its entertainment division will make its mark at the E3 2016, slated to be held in Los Convention Center - judging by this, speculations are hinting that they are either going to release "Red Dead Redemption 2" or the much-awaited "GTA 6."

Taking into consideration that "GTA 6" is still on the far side, "Red Dead Redemption 2" seems more likely to debut at the E3 2016, MasterHerald reported.

Ever since "GTA 5" made its appearance in 2013 and emerged as the fastest selling video-game in the history, ardent fans of the open world action-adventure video game started inquiring about "GTA 6." Besides, citing the huge success of its predecessor, fans now have high expectations from "GTA 6" and are already anticipating the purported game's launch for next-generation console with enhanced graphics and gameplay features.

Although there is no official release date associated with "GTA 6," Leslie Benzies, president of Rockstar North hinted that they "got about 45 years' worth of ideas" they want to do. Avid "GTA" fans are citing the previous leads to predict the release date for "GTA 6," however no details in connection to the games release date has been divulged by Rockstar Games, GTA6GrandTheftAuto reported.

However, if Rockstar sticks to its release pattern, we could expect "GTA 6" to hit the shelves sometime in 2018.

Meanwhile, fans can look forward to some other "GTA" game such as "GTA City Stories," which is new title registered by the game's developer. "GTA 6" is more likely to launch on the latest console, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Citing the huge demand for PC version of the game, Rockstar is expected to eventually launch the game for PC platform as well.
