According to the reigning WWE Tag Team Champions, The New Day, they should be gracing the cover of the upcoming professional wrestling video game "WWE 2K17."

Although, quite a few current WWE Superstars are trying to grab a spot on WWE 2K17's cover, there is no confirmation yet regarding which WWE Superstars would feature on it.

The New Day member and WWE Tag Team Champion, Big E believes that he and his friends (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) should adorn WWE 2K17 cover - and It makes a lot of sense actually, considering that Woods, a member of The New Day is an avid video gamer and has his own YouTube channel dubbed "Up, Up, Down, Down" which is dedicated to video gaming.

With Woods owing gaming at the moment, and The New Day been Tag Team Champions for more than 200 days, Ettore Ewen, who is popularly known by his ring name, Big E in an interview with GamesMaster (via GamesRadar) said that the reigning WWE Tag Team Champions should be on the WWE 2K17 cover.

Big E noted that The New Day is entertaining the WWE Universe, "making people laugh" and more importantly, they have the infectious "power of positivity." The trio, according to Big E, accepts 2K's offer to feature on WWE 2K17's cover and is already geared up for the cover shoot.

However, things don't look too positive for super-entertaining trio as several other WWE Superstars are not quite down with the idea of Big E, Kofi and Xavier adorning the cover of the upcoming wrestling game, "WWE 2K17."

While The Beast's advocate, Paul Heyman recommends his client Brock Lesnar for the WWE 2K17's cover, Damien Sandow on the other hand thinks the public (WWE Universe) should feature on the sleeve and he clarifies saying that if it wouldn't be for the people who actually buy the game, there wouldn't be any WWE Superstars, GameZone reported.

Well, that does make a lot a sense, but the question is, will 2K consider Sandow's suggestion?

The publisher 2K recently spilled the beans announcing that fans will have access to an exclusive character in the form of the ex WCW champion, Bill Goldberge but only for those who pre-order.

"WWE 2K17" is slated to hit the shelves in October.
