It looks like the expansion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is inevitable. Writers Christopher Markus and Stephen Mc Feely may have accidentally revealed the inclusion of several "Guardians of the Galaxy" characters in the upcoming film, "Avengers: Infinity War."

In an interview with The Verge, Christopher Markus and Stephen Mc Feely, who are known for their work in the Marvel cinematic universe, revealed their plans for the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War" movie. With regards to how Thanos will be incorporated in the film, Markus mentioned the purple villain, an android and a raccoon which points to Rocket Raccoon from the "Guardians of the Galaxy" franchise.


Rocket Raccoon who is voiced by Bradley Cooper is the only animal of its kind in the Marvel cinematic universe, according to Christian Daily. Furthermore, he is connected to Thanos. The outlet alleges that Rocket Raccoon will be going to Iron Man (played by Robert Downey Jr.) in the upcoming "Avengers" movie together with Star Lord (Chris Pratt) and Groot.

Last month, Joe and Anthony Russo confirmed Star Lord's role in "Avengers: Infinity War," Comicbook.com noted. Furthermore, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) will also be in the film in preparation of his own movie, "Thor: Ragnarok." The Russo brothers teased excited fans that "Avengers: Infinity War" will be something they will be looking forward to. "Avengers: Infinity War" will be sliced in two parts. Part I will be released on May 4, 2018, while Part II will be released on May 3, 2019.
