In an interview with Graham Norton on his show, the "X-Men: Apocalypse" star Jennifer Lawrence shared an "embarassing" encounter she had on a night out with British comedia Jack Whitehall. Lawrence shared that she "made a fool" of herself during an encounter with "Star Wars" director JJ Abrams and actor Harrison Ford.

Jennifer Lawrence was on a night out with Jack Whitehall when she spotted "Star Wars" director JJ Abrams and Harrison Ford. She tried to greet the two by dancing over to them but they did not recognize the "Hunger Games" actress, Time Magazine reported.

The table with which Abrams and Ford were went quiet when Lawrence apparently danced over heading there. Lawrence revealed that she realized that they did not recognize her so she went back to Whitehall and was embarassed by the whole ordeal, Entertainment Weekly shared.

Whitehall who recently filmed with Ford was recognized. Whitehall was discouraged by his friends not to greet Harrison as they fear the latter would not recognize him. When Whitehall walked over to Harrison, he was instantly greeted and found the whole thing "funny." However, Ford later wrote to Lawrence about what happened during that night as the actress surmised someone must have told the "Star Wars" actor who she was.

Lawrence's "X-men: Apocalypse" co-star, Sophie Turner ("Hunger Games") also shared that the former punched her in the crotch when she misheard her. Turner was having a fake fight conversation with another co-star Evan Peters when Lawrence thought of her saying to punch her in the crotch. Lawrence then punched Turner and she thought the whole thing was "awesome" and "pretty funny," E Online noted.
