Capcom has released their financial statement and it may have clues as to when "Resident Evil 7" may be released. The company has been particularly mum about the seventh installment of their widely popular zombie-shooting game. They recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of their franchise and reports say that the fans may finally be able to get their hands on the latest survival horror shooting game.

Capcom Financial Statement Revealed The Release Date of "Resident Evil 7"?

Japanese game development company, Capcom released their financial statement and reports say that it suggested the release date of "Resident Evil 7." The statement revealed that Capcom is scheduled to release another game based off of the franchise called "Resident Evil Umbrella Corps" for PS4 and PC on March 31 next year. It also indicated that the company is bent on a "full-scale offensive" plan to be released in the second half of 2017, Games Radar reported.

Capcom has been busy with remaking and remastering some of their popular games, Express shared. However, Metro wrote that the plan may just be referring to the remastered versions of the games "Resident Evil 5" and "Resident Evil 4" that are to be released this year. This will be along with a remade version of "Resident Evil 2" in 2017.While it is not clear what Capcom has planned for "Resident Evil 7," the game is allegedly being developed but it is not known what gaming platform it will be on.

More "Resident Evil 7" Info in E3 Expo 2016 Next Month?

The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016 or E3 for short is scheduled to happen next month. Game Rant points out that Capcom doesn't hold press conferences but their new games which could include "Resident Evil 7" might be mentioned or revealed during the presentations of Nintendo, Microsoft of Sony.
