The March 21 quiet updating of the Apple store snubbed the MacBook Pro with no new 2017 models to show or even hint at. Instead, there were only an upgraded iPhone 7 with a new red color option, iPhone SE with more storage, more Apple Watch straps and the new value 9.7-inch iPad. Expectations were high that the MacBook Pro 2017 may finally get a refresh after years of no major upgrades other than last year's Touch Bar. The newest feature was not fully embraced at launch in less than a year has improved its utility as more support is added like Office and Photoshop.
