Jayhawks Tie Academic All-Big 12 Teams Title; To Beat Texas Longhorns At Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships

Thirty Kansas University student-athletes were named to the 2016 Academic All-Big 12 Men's and Women's Track & Field Teams. The Jayhawks led the league alongside Texas Longhorns with 30 honorees each. Sixty-six first team and 23 second team made up the Big 12 men's academic team whereas 117 first team and 16 second team comprised the women's squad. Jayhawks head to Fort Worth Texas, to beat the Longhorns and other competing teams at the 2016 Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 13 to 15 at the Lowden Track and Field Complex, TCU.
