The latest mock draft from ESPN insider Jeff Goodman predicted former Kansas Jayhawks center Joel Embiid would go first overall to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Embiid is set to meet with the Cavaliers within the next couple weeks, a source told ESPN, and will not meet with other teams until he goes to Cleveland. Like Goodman, ESPN insider and draft expert Chad Ford believes the first overall pick is a three-man race between Embiid, Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker.

There has been some speculation that the Cavs do not want to take a chance on Embiid's injured back, which kept him out of the Jayhawks' final six games. Fox Sports' Sam Amico indicated Cleveland had shifted its focus to either Wiggins or Parker.

Goodman had a different feeling, predicting the seven-footer from Cameroon as the number one overall pick. With the second pick, he predicted the Milwaukee Bucks would take Parker and Wiggins would go to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Embiid has insisted his back has fully healed since the end of the basketball season and has reportedly been impressive in pre-draft workouts. The Jayhawks' early exit from the NCAA Tournament also may have helped Embiid since he did not have to place any extra game stress on his back.

The unnamed sources told ESPN the Cavs intend to conduct a physical on Embiid when they meet. Whereas the draft class is deep with players at Parker's and Wiggins' respective positions, Embiid could well be one of the only, but undoubtedly the best, centers taken in the first round.

But the Cavs are still reportedly considering all three players for the first overall pick. They consider Parker to be the most NBA-ready, Embiid a rare talent and Wiggins an ultra-talented swingman with major upside on both ends of the court.

None attended the official pre-draft combine, but all granted evaluators a chance to see them at private workouts.
