One of the games revealed by Bethesda during the E3 conference was Wolfenstein 2, a game set in an alternate United States ruled by Nazis. The trailer was very original and interesting but not as interesting and intense as the comments it got on YouTube.

Once the Wolfenstein 2 trailer became accessible on YouTube, it was flooded with comments that might look amusing at first. But once you analyzed the racist, bloodthirsty, and pro Neo-Nazi comments, it is as chilling as the game plot itself.

For example one user said that the question asked was whether it was okay to punch a Nazi or not. The answer is no he said because you don't punch Nazis. Instead, you shoot them.

But what's more interesting is another comment that hails neo-Nazis as the heroes and good guys. The commenter, who went by the name Pepe von Europa, said Nazis have been placed in bad light because of "massive propaganda campaigns and constant brainwashing techniques."

Then, there's Sharpmarksman who could not hide his discontent and annoyance because there are too many black characters in the game. He then ended with a doomed observation that this is a sign the gaming industry is f#$%ed. Some even accused the black female character as being racists to the white characters in the game.

The comments might be dismissed as just a jokes but as the old saying goes, "jokes are half-meant." It is even a very subtle and "safe" way to express what a person really believes in.

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is a first-person shooter game where the United States of America is ruled by the Nazis. Bethesda announced that the estimated release date is October 27 on PS4, Xbox, and PC. The game is already available for pre-order on Amazon with the Collector’s Edition priced at $100.
