Fans of the "Final Fantasy" franchise will have to wait a bit more as "Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" will be coming soon to the West in 2018. Square Enix also revealed a new stage for the Japanese arcade version, which might make an appearance in the West too.

Popular Fighting Game Coming To The West

"Dissidia Final Fantasy NT," a successor of popular "Dissidia Final Fantasy" on the PlayStation Portable, was recently a Japanese arcade game exclusive. After a recent leak from Amazon Japan, Square Enix has recently revealed that it will be coming to the West in console version for the PlayStation 4 next year, Dual Shockers reported.

"Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" Details: Characters, Battle Arenas

The upcoming fantasy fighting game will be developed together with Team Ninja. It will have 20 playable characters, which include popular heroes and villains from every "Final Fantasy" game in the series. There will be ten battle arenas to fight in, which will be based on iconic locations from the game series.

It was also recently reported that the Japanese arcade version will have a new stage to look forward to. It will be "Final Fantasy III's" Floating Continent, which will be added in a June 15 update to the arcade version of the game. It might make an appearance in the western console version of the game when it comes out.

Players will also be able to summon familiars like the popular Shiva, Odin, and Ifrit. They can also equip their characters with different weapons, skills, and even skins as they level them up. This can make them look unique and have sets that they could be familiar with.

The console version of the video game will also have the same three on three battles for the players. They can also join in on online and offline battle modes, which should be a lot of fun to play with.

E3 2017 Livestream Schedule Revealed

In other Square Enix related news, they have finally announced their livestream schedule for E3 2017, which will be shown on their Twitch channel and YouTube channel. It will include different kinds of developer interviews, announcements, gameplay sessions, and many more, according to their official blog.
