Sony Interactive Entertainment was proud to announce that the PlayStation 4 exclusive "Horizon: Zero Dawn" has sold more than 3 million copies worldwide. This Guerilla Games game has already sold more than 2 million copies in its first two weeks.

"Horizon: Zero Dawn" Sells A Lot Of Copies

Sony revealed that as of April 30, the video game has already sold 3.4 million copies all over the world. Back in March 16, they also revealed that it has exceeded 2.6 million copies sold in just its first two weeks when it was out in the market. This game became their best-selling new first party IP launch on the PS4 ever, and this made Guerilla Game's biggest debut, Dual Shockers reported.

PS4 Exclusive Sells A Lot After A Few Months

At a rough estimate, "Horizon: Zero Dawn" has sold a lot of copies in just one and a half months since its opening two weeks. The open-world action video game has sold another 800,000 copies worldwide, which shows that it has a decent launching than other games.

Other Comparisons With Big Sales

Other video games have gotten these big number of sales in the past and one of them is another PS4 exclusive, which was "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" from Naughty Dog, which sold 2.7 million copies in its first week. Another big game title was "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," which sold 4 million copies in its first two weeks in the market. The only difference was that it was across the PS4, Xbox One, and the PC.

PlayStation VR Gets More Than 1 Million Units Sold

In other PlayStation related news, the PlayStation VR has now surpassed 1 million units sold in the market. The new headset by Sony has outpaced its competitors in a fashionable way since the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift supposedly has sold 420,000 and 243,000 units respectively by the end of 2016. The only one that is far ahead of the competition is the Samsung Gear VR, which has sold more than 5 million units, Dual Shockers reported.
