After several requests from fans that wanted female soldiers in "Battlefield 1's" multiplayer feature, they will now have it soon. EA and DICE will be adding these soldiers with the upcoming "In the Name of the Tsar" expansion DLC.

New Female Soldiers For Multiplayer Feature

The game publisher and developer have recently revealed a promo image that showed a female soldier. She was a member of the Scout class, who is part of the 1st Russian Women's Battalion of Death that was formed in 1917. This is one of the 15 women's battalions used by the Russians during World War I, Dual Shockers reported.

"Battlefield" Series To Have First Time Female Soldiers

Other game titles like "Call of Duty" have the option of choosing female soldiers in multiplayer gaming, but in the "Battlefield" series, this will be the first. This will mark the first time that the franchise will implement women into a game. For now, only the Russian female soldiers were revealed to be added soon, but hopefully there will be other countries as well.
