New content was recently released for "For Honor," which has some items that are immediately free for players to get. It will feature some new maps and characters to try out.

"For Honor" Season 2 New Details

"For Honor's" Season 2 called "Shadow and Might" will go live soon, and it will add new contents to it. This new season will have two new maps, and different gameplay updates will be implemented for players to try out when this goes live. Season pass owners will be able to get two new characters and all of the new contents immediately, while others will have to wait for May 23, Gamespot reported.

Aside from the free maps, the gear system of the game will be overhauled with this new DLC content. These changes will include balance changes and tweaks to the stats that have been seen either useless or redundant, and they can also see the percentage increases when comparing pieces of gear. A new Epic level of gear will be introduced as well that raises the gear score cap from 108 to 144.

"For Honor" Season 2 Character Details Revealed

Aside from the new territories being added to the Faction War map, the main highlight of Season 2 will be the addition of the two new characters. The Centurion is a close-quarters Knight hybrid, while the Shinobi is a type of Samurai with a mix of assassin.

Ubisoft will also launch a new "For Honor" patch, and it will be together with the Season 2 content launch. The new patch will make a lot of changes to the game, including the guardbreak and attacks will no longer be cancelled by players quickly switching. Several bug fixes will be implemented as well like a fix to an issue that caused the guaranteed Swift Justice Finisher to trigger without a hit on the previous attack, according to the official website of the video game.
