Treyarch is planning to remaster the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" classic zombie maps through a new DLC for the video game. This new DLC pack will be called the Zombies Chronicles.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Zombies Chronicles DLC pack will contain remastered versions of popular maps of the game franchise like the Nacht der Untoten, Kino der Toten, Shangri-la, Shi no Numa, and many more. This will be eight classic zombies maps and it will be available for the modern platforms. Treyarch co-studio head Jason Blundell said that their team wanted to create a DLC pack for the fans who may have started playing the mode recently, Polygon reported.
Blundell revealed that they realized that a lot of their fans have come in later game titles of the "Call of Duty: Black Ops" franchise. Those fans have not experienced the early storyline concepts that really set down the foundation of the Zombies map features, Gamespot reported.

The Zombies Chronicles DLC pack will be released first on the PlayStation 4 this coming May 16, and the game developers have not revealed when it will come to the Xbox One and PC. Usually, the past DLC packs of the "Call of Duty" franchise arrive on the Xbox One and PC about a month after the PS4 release. More details of the upcoming DLC pack will be announced on May 8.
"Call Of Duty: WWII" New Trailer Shows Vision For the Game
In other "Call of Duty" related news, Activision has recently released a new video, which can be viewed below, for "Call of Duty: WWII." It showcased the developers' vision for the game, and what players could expect when it launches in the near future. Sledgehammer Games leadership team member Michael Condrey described it as a game that tells an epic, gritty, and visceral story of the world's greatest conflict in history, Gamespot reported in another post.
