‘Call Of Duty: WWII’ Global Reveal Info: Important Details, Multiplayer, Beta Test, Release Date; Health Regen Feature No More [VIDEO]
ByActivision and Sledgehammer Games proudly presented their latest game title, "Call of Duty: WWII" to the world recently with an awesome trailer. They also provided details on the release date, the beta test, and many more.
"Call Of Duty: WWII" Focuses On US First Infantry Division
Sledgehammer Games explained during the worldwide reveal of "Call of Duty: WWII" that it will focus and follow on the US first Infantry Division as they fight their way through the European theater of World War II. It focuses on their actions from 1944 to 1945, but it will also have some scenes on events from 1940 to 1944 to help set the stage for the narrative and give a background for the characters. Players will experience the war through occupied France, Belgium, and across Rhine into Germany, Activision posted on its official blog.
"Call Of Duty: WWII" Locations
Players of "Call of Duty: WWII" will also meet with the French resistance movement at the time of World War II. They will go through the beaches of Normandy to the liberation of Paris and beyond. They also fight through the Hurtgen Forest, which was on the German border where the Allied forces engaged the Germans that used tree burst bombs and other devastating tactics.
"Call Of Duty: WWII" Multiplayer And Private Beta Test
"Call of Duty: WWII" will have a multiplayer reveal at E3, which will take place in Los Angeles soon. It will include a narrative-driven mode called War, a new approach to create-a-class feature called Divisions, and Headquarters, which is its new social feature. It was also revealed that there will be a Private Beta test, which will be available first on the PlayStation.
"Call Of Duty: WWII" Editions Revealed
Sledgehammer Games also revealed the five editions of "Call of Duty: WWII," which can be pre-ordered already. Interested buyers can choose from the Standard Edition, Digital Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, Pro Edition, and the Legacy-Pro Edition, according to the official website of the video game.
"Call Of Duty: WWII" Will Ditch Health Regen
Sledgehammer Games also revealed that "Call of Duty: WWII" will remove the health regeneration feature, which was common in the game franchise. Players will experience team cooperation with every member vital for its survival in a mission. They will have to worry about every bullet they use in the game, which is a cool challenge for everyone to experience, co-founder Glen Schofield said to Polygon in an exclusive interview.
