The details of Nokia 8 and Nokia 9 are not that sketchy anymore as more leaks confirmed a few important things. Both flagships will bring pure Android experience to users. Meanwhile, Nokia 6 has just received FCC certification that indicates its US launch is imminent.
Nokia 8 Specs, Release Date
Nokia 8 is reportedly the flagship that Nokia plans to unveil this year alongside Nokia 9. The Snapdragon 835-powered device will get a 5.2-inch display, 3,500 mAh battery and 22 MP rear camera from Carl Zeiss. The Nougat handset is rumored to be getting IP68 certification and advanced features such as Daydream ready.
A whopping 128 GB internal storage is expected to ship with the phone but detail on RAM has been vague as a few online sources predict it could come with either 6GB or 4GB RAM.
Nokia 9 Specs, Release Date
While details are not yet clear, a handful information suggest that one thing that differentiates Nokia 9 from Nokia 8 is the OZO speakers that will enhance the audio experience. It is obvious that Nokia 9 will be an audio-focused smartphone as the 3D system will support VR and high-quality stereo, PhoneArena reported.
Specs-wise, Nokia 9 is said to rock a 6GB RAM and inbuilt storage as huge as 128 GB. The camera could pack 22MP or 23 MP Carl Zeiss optic with 12 MP front-facing shooter. Just like the Galaxy S8, Nokia's premium handset could carry a few similar features, such as iris scanner and fingerprint sensor with water and dust resistant chassis.
Nokia 9 will likely to arrive with larger display, up to 5.5-inch according to familiar sources. HMD Global might launch the handset with a 3,800 mAh battery and OLED display technology. Both Nokia 8 and Nokia 9 are expected to debut in June 2017.
Nokia 6 US Debut
Good news for US consumers as Nokia 6 obtained FCC certification - meaning that the debut in the country is imminent. While the pricing is not yet revealed, the entry-level Nokia 6 features decent specifications, including 16MP/8MP optics, Snapdragon 430 chip, 3GB RAM and 5.5-inch display.
