Some of the latest details of the Nexus 6P Android smartphone suggest that the device could face a revival of the Nexus brand. As the Nexus 6P was tested in an Android O preview, tech fans believe that the latest Nexus device is the best one in the series. They also believe that the Nexus 6P handset could triumph in the smartphone world.

There are several reasons why Google would not give up on the Nexus 6P Android smartphone. The latest update shows that the Android O (Android mobile operating system) preview had some few changes, such as the setting menu, new interface on the battery, a Sleep Menu and more attractive appearance, PC-Tablet reported.

With the roll out of the latest Android mobile operating system preview of Nexus 6P smartphone, it was also revealed that the Nexus 6P along with the Pixel devices have migrated to SDCardFS of the new Android O. Part of the modifications were made under the hood, with the SDCardFS replacing the in-kernel FUSE.

On the other hand, the Android 7.1.2 Nougat update's final version has rolled out to Pixel devices and a number of Nexus devices, but the Nexus 6P Android smartphone is finally getting the final beta build of the update. The Android 7.1.2 Nougat update is currently available for the Android Beta testing program members.

The Android 7.1.2 Nougat update comes with 25.4MB in size, which makes sense since a device is not even going up a version number. The build does not come along with new features. The Android 7.1.2 Nougat update simply brings the Nexus 6P handset up to the final version, First Post reported.

Being on the Android 7.1.2 Nougat final version will put a person back on track for regular over-the-air programming (OTA) updates. The latest operating system update is aimed at Nexus 6P owners who were fastened with the beta build.
