‘Injustice 2’ New Video Showcases Gear System; Suicide Squad Members Revealed [VIDEO]
ByAfter the release of the "Injustice 2" trailer of The Flash, NetherRealm Studios has released another video that focused more on the game's Gear System on their official website. This is to inform the interested gamers of what they could expect with the system and how they could take advantage of it.
"Injustice 2" Gear System Not Just Cosmetic
NetherRealm explained on their new video, which can be viewed below, that their Gear System for "Injustice 2" will not just let players outfit their characters with cosmetic items. These items will have additional stats that could give an advantage to them in many battles. They can also add new skills that can bring a new level of depth to the game, according to the official website of the video game.
In the new video, it revealed that players will have tons of items to choose from to customize their favorite characters. They will have to earn these items first in battles, and they have to win them to earn one, Gamespot reported.
"Injustice 2" Gear System Will Not Overwhelm Newcomers
"Injustice 2's" new Gear System will not overwhelm the newcomers, the game studio assured. Players can disable the stat boosts when playing both online and off, which reduces the characters' stats to their default levels. The equipped gear will then become cosmetic items only and it will be a fair fight for them.
Players who have enough experience are welcome to turn on the stat boosts. The game developers encourage them to develop their own unique personal playstyles, while getting rewarded for investing their time in the game.
