PC gamers have speed and accuracy at their disposal but consoles can have it too with the Keymander keyboard and mouse support suited for FPS games like "Gears of War" or "Battlefield." However, there is one game that may not fully benefit from PC-like accuracy and that will be "Destiny 2" set to arrive on PC, which could also bring in hacks and cheats reminiscent of "Overwatch."

Digital gaming is booming but gamers are divided as to which platform offers the ultimate gaming experience. The console is pitted against PC gaming, which argues that it has speed and accuracy on its side because of its keyboard and mouse. However, consoles can also profit from the same kind of support like Kaliber Gaming's Keymander.

The Keymander has a keyboard and mouse adapter for consoles for gamers to enjoy PC-like gaming. The rig is best suited for FPS games that also include "Call of Duty" as opposed to RPG games and menu laden titles of "Diable III" or "Mass Effect." The rig retails for $99.99 but Amazon offers it at a discounted price of $85 dollars, which is already a good bargain when factoring a keyboard and a mouse as add-ons.

The Keymander box provides support for a keyboard and mouse and not joystick controllers for more speed and accuracy for games on the Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3. It works with a PC software that enables players to have more freedom in configuring and calibrating while the direct button mapping allows accurate in-game customizing.

The Keymander controllers also allow multiple saved profiles in groups for different games allowing for customized advantages. There are hot keys that allow gamers to instantly switch profiles during a live game and it easily connects to a laptop in-game if players want to make adjustments on the fly. Though it provides PC-like gaming accuracy, the Keymander takes time to set up primarily because of so many cables, Techaeris reported.

Moreover, Keymander is backed up by IOGEAR's official statement that it is not different from custom controllers that pros use. Gamers need not be wary of being banned since the Keymander does not change the game codes or create cheats or hacks. It just simply emulates the functions of custom controllers.

However, there is one game that players are wary if it will benefit from a PC's keyboard and mouse. "Destiny 2" is set to arrive on PC on September 8 and not a PS4 exclusive. Some players fear that hackers may ruin the game in its PC version. However, it already has hacks in its present console-only version as revealed by a quick Google search.

Incidentally, Blizzard has already made it official for "Overwatch" that it forbids the use of keyboard and mouse support in consoles like that of Keymander's. Nonetheless, even Jeff Kaplan cannot stop gamers from using PCXIM4, keyboard and mouse adapter for the PS4, MMOexaminer reported.
