Sony has recently announced that several "Jak and Daxter" video game titles will be available on the PlayStation 4 as PlayStation 2 classics on the PS Store. They intend to introduce these classic games to the new gamers of this era.
"Jak and Daxter" PS2 Classics Coming To PS4
Four "Jak and Daxter" video games will be coming back as PS2 classics on the PS4 in the near future, and each will have new upgrades. The four game titles are "Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy," "Jak II," "Jak 3," and "Jak X: Combat Racing," according to the official website of PlayStation.
"Jak and Daxter" PS2 Classics To Get PS4 Support Features
Just like the other PS2 classics that come to the PS4 console, the four "Jak and Daxter" games will get some new features. These games will be rendered up with 1080p resolution to fit the PS4 display. It will also have a trophy support, Shareplay, Remote Play, and Activity Feeds as included features, reported Dual Shockers.
"Jak and Daxter" Game Franchise Details
The "Jak and Daxter" game franchise was developed by game studio Naughty Dog, and it is one of the best ones of the PS2 time. The franchise consisted of the first three games mentioned in the PS2 classics and "Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier." The fourth one was not included because it was developed by High Impact Games.
The fourth one in the PS2 Classics is not part of the main series. It was still added to the list because it was developed by Naughty Dog.

Aside from the announcement, Sony revealed the announcement trailer of "Jak and Daxter" PS2 Classics. The trailer showcased the new up rendering for the classic games, and the new features it will have, according to the official blog of PlayStation.
