The game developers explained that "Asura" is a rogue-like game with a procedurally generated skill tree, and the story was inspired from the Indian mythology. Players will have to play a demon incarnate, and will have to fight against enemies that are stationed in a randomly generated fortress of the Daeva Empire. They can also equip different weapons from a wide variety of arsenal, and customize their characters by using the ever changing skill tree.

The developers promised that the game will be brutal, but it is always fair with its different stages. The goal is to defeat the Daeva Empire.

In "Asura," players can customize their characters with the use of over 80 skills that changes every time they choose one. They can also unlock three different demons for different abilities and deal bigger damage against enemies standing on their way.

"Asura's" variety of loot and Heroes as villains

Players can gain a wide variety of loot, which will be different in other stages as they play the game. Instead of playing the hero of the game, they will have to duel and slay Heroes of the Daeva, Vanara, Naga, and the Hathira race, and unlock more as they destroy them in the battlefield.
