Intel recently made it known that its first super fast Intel Optane Memory will give hope to aging hard disk. Intel's smart, adaptable system accelerator for PCs is about to be released in the tech universe soon. The focal point of the new optane drive data center is on the DC P4800X SSD.

The upcoming Intel Optane Memory, which is a little M.2 form factor, is designed to replace the old HDD into a higher gear. Previously, the 3D Xpoint technology based Intel Optane Memory, tech fans still had to choose between the two different types of storage device. Customers could choose to have a larger spinning disk drive or a slow speed HDD with a good price per gigabyte, according to the Digital Trends.

Nonetheless, Intel's new adaptable memory comes along with better launch times and the device will not sacrifice the speed for storage. The upcoming Intel Optane Memory will definitely make a person's computer faster. Also, as the Intel Optane Memory is adaptable, the accompanying drivers and software will learn which files a person will utilize more frequently, CNET reported.

Unlike DRAM's, the Intel Optane Memory works like an SSD or an HDD which retains data when users turned off their PC. This would be greatly beneficial for consumer and enterprise users. The Intel Optane Memory will be up for grabs in two M.2 trims, the $44 16GB model and the $77 32GB variant, PC World has learned. Both devices are said to be rated with super fast read speeds of 1.2GBps and writes of 280MBps.

That being the case, the Intel Optane Memory is a relatively cheap upgrade for PC users who want a faster operating system (OS) experience with plenty of HDD storage. Intel's upcoming device can work like a supercharger for the desktop's storage system. The Intel Optane Memory is available for pre-order with a ship date on April 24.
