Microsoft to release a Surface Book 2 and Microsoft Surface Pro 5 have been rampant. Unfortunately, recently surfaced reports claim that the highly anticipated Microsoft devices are not ready yet, so tech fans should not expect to see the Surface Book 2 and Surface Pro 5 anytime soon.

The Redmond, Washington based tech titan's speculated Spring hardware launch event is unlikely to launch the high-performance laptop, Microsoft Surface Book 2, ZDNet reported. Reports are claiming that the tech giant will introduce new products during the event, but the much awaited Surface Book 2 isn't going to be one of them. The new Microsoft products are believed to be the Surface-branded series' new categories.

Microsoft is said to introduce a new clamshell-like Surface. The new device is anticipated to make use of the Windows 10 Creators Update that is speculated for an early April release. The new Microsoft device is said to come along with a 3D Paint, Game Mode, Beam game streaming, Windows Mixed Reality support and an updated Edge browser.

Meanwhile, rumor has it that the main cause of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 delay is Intel Kaby Lake's availability. Nonetheless, the chipsets are said to be already in transit, thus, it will only be a matter of time before the tech company will be ready to roll out its new Surface model.

That being the case, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 would have a lightweight aluminum body, a 12.3-inch display, a 4K display and a UHD screen with 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, according to Market Exclusive. The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is rumored to feature a rechargeable Surface Pen and a Surface Dial.

On the other hand, the Microsoft Surface Book 2 will be up for grabs as a traditional laptop. The Surface Book 2 could have a price tag lower than its predecessor. The device could also come along with some additional features.
