Galaxy Tab S3 has all glass, glossy-body which does look appealing but may not be a favorite among users since fingerprints could be left anywhere around. The iPad Pro, on the other hand, gets Apple signature of brushed aluminum chassis that is smudge-free. However, the premium Tab S3 is much thinner than iPad Pro - making it more portable and functional.
Moving on to entertainment, Galaxy Tab S3 and iPad Pro have four speakers on top and bottom, thus, the audio sound is unquestionably excellent on both flagship tablets. The excellence doesn't end there as Samsung equips its device with a Super AMOLED display for a breathtaking visual experience.
Apparently, Galaxy Tab S3 comes with lower battery capacity that could live up to 8 to 9 hours whereas the iPad Pro has a longer battery life, up to 10 hours. When it comes to the operating system, iOS might bring richer apps to the iPad Pro but those who have been familiar with Android platform could still expect great experience in Tab S3.
Samsung claims that the S Pen will make writing on tablet feels like writing on paper. The 4069 levels of pressure sensitivity in Tab S3 is exceptionally perfect for drawing or writing texts. What makes Tab S3 a better value for money is that the S Pen is included with every purchase instead of being sold separately like the iPad Pro and its Apple Pencil.
iPad Pro and Galaxy Tab S3 have smart connector to attach the keyboard accessory but the Android tablet already supports USB type C. Samsung tablet comes equipped with 4 gigs of RAM whilst the iPad Pro is shipped with 2 GB. However, the iOS has made it efficient for multitasking thus a lesser RAM doesn't mean it performs slow.
From the overall specs and design, it comes down to a personal choice and operating system preference. Albeit both are equally valuable, Galaxy Tab S3 isn't as pricey as the iPad Pro. It doesn't seem appropriate to compare an apple to orange, given that Samsung is the cheaper variant and yet, bringing all the powerhouse to the table.
