Galaxy S7 is currently sold at a steep price. Is this a sign of a successor imminent launch?

After Galaxy Note 7 debacle, Samsung doesn't seem to back down. The recent leaks suggest that Galaxy S8 is on their way to replace the S7 fame. The S7 series is now a good bargain after getting a discount. Here's the deal!

Samsung Galaxy S7 Price Cut

Galaxy S7 is getting a huge discount from eBay, as it now sells for $249 for the refurbished version. The unlocked device will be compatible with AT&T or Verizon carriers, according to Android Headlines. For those who purchase using the promo code C20SPRING will get an additional $50 off, valid through March 27.

The refurbished Galaxy S7 (Verizon) Black Onyx color is also available at Best Buy at $544.99. However, it is worth noting that the smartphones aren't sold at Samsung official store. According to Tech Radar, Samsung reportedly prepares its own refurbished store to maintain cost efficiency. Hence, the fans can expect an affordable Galaxy S smartphone from Samsung in the near future. It's also plausible to get other tweaked Samsung handsets when the store is up.

Samsung Galaxy S7 sports a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with Android Nougat operating system. There's a 4 gigs of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage on board with Snapdragon 820 powering the device. The battery packs 3,000 mAh non-removable and there's a slot for storage expansion using MicroSD card.

Samsung Gear VR Refurbished

Samsung Gear VR is now up for a grab with just $35 - a 66 percent off from its regular price. The Oculus-made headset brings virtual reality experience and 360-view video. It is compatible with Galaxy S7 series, S6 series and Note 5.
