Nvidia's latest GeForce drivers, the version 378.78 WHQL, have been released and were optimized for one game -- Ubisoft's "Ghost Recon: Wildlands." Here are the vital updates that the new GeForce drivers introduced.

The GeForce 378.78 drivers support the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, meaning it now carries the whole array of GeForce GTX 1050, 1050 Ti, 1080 GPUs and the mobile versions, Digital Trends reported. Nvidia's latest GeForce drivers also add or update SLI profiles of other games such as Square Enix's "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," Electronic Arts' "Titanfall 2" and Ubisoft's "The Division."

"Ghost Recon: Wildlands" is the only title getting an updated 3D Vision profile, but no other 3D Compatibility Mode Profiles were added or updated.

The GeForce 378.78 drivers fix the "blue screen of death" occurrences while some notebooks undergo GeForce 1050 Ti implementations. Expect no more crashes for the Steam NvFBC H.264 encode, and driver errors caused by the PrimeGrid Genefer OpenCL tool and the GPUGrid CUDA application.

Other fixes include the removal of the GFE FPS counter in Discord. Lower performance was also resolved by turning off the Compute Performance setting for the GeForce GTX 980 Ti.

"Ghost Recon" Wildlands" allow players to acquire highly efficient sniper rifles even at the start of the gameplay. The powerful MSR sniper rifle is one of those guns you can get early, and it's great for coming out on top of lower-level combat.

To get the MSR sniper rifle, players must go to the Montuyoc region and drop their GPS on the map's far western corner, Games Radar advised. At this point, "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" will warn you how dangerous Montuyoc is for novice players, but you can avoid enemy patrols by taking off-road paths.

Once you reach the Araca Village, you must go south-by-southwest until you get to the Choza Padre Mine. Four snipers guard the mine so you have to get off your vehicle and walk towards it quietly. It's best to use silencers to kill the guards.

But that's only the beginning. The inside of the mine is riddled with more soldiers and you can take them out by using recon equipment such as binoculars and night vision goggles.

After, go into the tunnel and take the first left. Crouch walk for a few moments until you get to the weapon case that houses the MSR sniper rifle. The weapon, which can be customized, will grant you an advantage in early missions.
