Nintendo recently rolled out a distribution code for Mega Stones so "Pokémon Sun" and "Moon" players can evolve the Legendary Pokémon, Mewtwo. The developer is currently preparing to release another distribution code to the delight of fans.

A limited number of players will get the distribution code of Mega Stones for Mawilite and Beedrillite. The code will be available to a select few starting on Wednesday, March 7, but all players will get a shared serial code in April, Serebii reported.

Mega Stones are used to evolve Pokémon into a special form in battle. Mega Evolutions will bring forth increased stats and changes to the Pokémon type and abilities. Not all Mega Evolutions are on hand at the moment, but Nintendo assured fans that other Mega Stones will be released throughout summer via different events and online postings.

Mewtwo's global Mega Stones code was M2DESCENT. The Pokémon cannot be caught in the wild, so players have to rely on Pokémon Bank via Poké Transporter to transfer Mewtwo. The latter was created in earlier games through genetic manipulation. Mewtwo's items will disappear in the process, but it's an unavoidable loss because it's the only way to have Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y in your arsenal.

Mega Mewtwo Y's special abilities include Insomnia, while Mega Mewtwo X's is Steadfast that elevates Speed one stage after flinching. Both Pokémon's moves include Disable, Confusion, Safeguard, Swift, Future Sight, Psych Up and Miracle Eye. They can also execute a mean Blizzard, Focus Blast, Giga Impact and Fire Blast, among others.

To enter a code, players must access the Mystery Gift tab on the "Pokémon Sun" and "Moon" main menu. Once there, click Receive Gift and Get with Code/Password. Select Yes twice to connect to the internet, according to VG24/7.

Afterward, players can enter their code and wait for the Mega Stones' arrival. To get them, you must talk to the deliveryman in any Pokémon Center and save your progress.

"Pokémon Sun" and "Moon" players in Japan will get a Shiny Tapu Koko distribution event starting on Friday, March 17 until Sunday, April 9. The level 60 Pokémon will not disappoint with its Electric Surge ability and Electric Seed as its hold item.

The Shiny Tapu Koko will be a formidable force in combats thanks to its Nature's Madness, Discharge, Agility and Electro Ball moves. The Pokémon's distribution code can be purchased from 7-Eleven, Amazon, Aeon, Pokémon Center, Yodobashi Camera and Rakuten, among others.
