Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 revealed details could hint at an imminent launch. Find out more!

Xiaomi push the envelope further this time by bringing 93 percent of aspect ratio to Mi Mix 2 - it is 10 percent higher than the first series. The aspect ratio is an interesting area to discuss since the next-gen Mi Mix will have an ultra-small bezel - thinner than what's already thin.

Mi Mix 2 is expected to have an edgeless AMOLED display. Under the hood, the handset will rock Qualcomm's latest chip, Snapdragon 835, according to Tech Radar. With a 4 gigs of RAM and a whopping 128 GB of internal storage, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will be a beauty that packs monstrous hardware.

Mi Mix 2 will use dual-lens module for its rear camera, according to BGR. The device will run on Android Nougat and get MIUI 9 custom skin on top of it. Xiaomi will reportedly equip the premium flagship with 6.4-inch display and 2K resolutions.

Will Mi Mix 2 go international?

The painful reality of the first series was that it did not make it to international market because Xiaomi decided to manufacture the phone in limited numbers. However, learning the report from Nikkei, Xiaomi plans to expand its retail network as the Apple of China embarks to the global market.

The media outlet said that Xiaomi's aggressive move includes launching an AI assistant for its upcoming product. Moreover, Xiaomi has seen a successful sale report in India; this surely builds more confident in expanding the territory - to Indonesia, Ukraine and Russia.

Back to Mi Mix 2, the device could be launched to global market given the positive feedbacks that Mi Mix has earned so far. The release date is expected this year since Xiaomi hasn't showcased any revolutionary smartphone in 2017. Instead, the Chinese phonemaker introduced Mi Mix white variant at the CES.
