Tinder has released a Tinder Select feature secretly. Some may have heard about this, but for starters, this is where dating app users meet celebrities, CEOs, and other high profile personalities online.

According to TechCrunch, Tinder Select is an exclusive feature for limited or chosen Tinder users. It has been operating for "a members-only version" which is meant to get those elite users such as models and CEOs. As long as the member is a big personality and "hyper-attractive/upwardly affluent type", then he or she could be part of the group.

As per the site's note, there was a source who reveals that the dating app even includes celebrities on their list as well as those who really do well in the app.

Although there has been no other information as to how Tinder chooses their selected members, the aforementioned source points out the app's Tinder ELO score. Based on the site's note, it could be one of the factors to consider a member of Tinder Select. The said score is an "algorithmic rating system" across all the members which is based on "thousand and thousands' of signals.

As of writing, what is known so far is that Tinder has invited some people to the dating app's new factor. It gives some of these members have the ability to nominate others. However, here's the catch, once the person is nominated, this person cannot nominate anyone else. This way, Tinder can secure and control who can join the "member-only version" of the dating app.

Meanwhile, as for its style, Tinder Select looks way better than the ordinary Tinder. It has a navy-blue "S" letter at the top and instead of the usual orange color, the feature also changes its color into blue. Other than that, selected users can also switch back and forth to the ordinary Tinder and to the new platform.

On the other hand, another news claim that Tinder is now giving away $100 to all its users. In Observer's official interview with Rosette Pambakin, Tinder's VP of Global Communication and Branding, the latter reveals the app's #FundHerCause.

According to Pambakin, the hashtag is a campaign where users can donate to their chosen charity across the country. To participate, app user needs to tweet the cause you care then tag it to @Tinder and mention #FindHerCause. Afterward, a code will be sent to unlock $100. Now, the user can now go to www.tinder.fund to choose a charity.

Tinder's #FundHerCasue starts on March 8 at 9:00 AM ET.
