NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti has officially begun its campaign to demolish AMD Vega 10 GPUs even before it comes out of its hiding place. Talking about places, NVIDIA GPUs has been dominating the GPU market, This is the exact place where GTX 1080 Ti and Vega 10 will meet for their final battle.

According to The Verge, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti cut-off a huge chunk in its original price tag in order to pose threat to the upcoming AMD Vega series. NVIDIA's move brings down a happy shocker to everyone since the current best sells at $1,200 compared to GTX 1080 Ti's new price, $699.

However, GPU pricing is not the battle NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti has to win but the performance. In addition, GTX 1080 Ti currently considered as the best GPU there is. This GPU just grabbed the number spot from Pascal Titan X with very impressive speed and powerful other features, PC Gamer noted.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti scores are not that far from Titan's but it is exceptional considering that the former is now seen as a low-cost GPU. The question now is could it be better than the AMD Vega GPUs?

The AMD Vega 10 release did not happen during the Game Developer's Conference 2017 leaving less information from what everyone wanted to know. According to the reports, AMD Vega has a very impressive test scores close enough or even greater than NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.

Some reports say that AMD will be ditching the GDDR5 memory to accommodate the HBM2 or high-bandwidth memory. On the other hand, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti confirmed to have with 8GB of HBM2 memory and a memory bandwidth of 512GB/s.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti vs. AMD Vega 10 winner will be hard to reveal at the moment since AMD Vega 10 has not been officially tested yet. A few more time is needed in order to analyze everything to provide a fair verdict.
