"Horizon Zero Dawn", "Death Stranding" games might be connected after all. This is after easter eggs have been found in both games. Adding on, there are even theories that Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen's might be in Horizon world.

'Death Stranding' Settings All Set In France?

According to a report from Video Games Republic, there is a possibility that "Horizon Zero Dawn", "Death Stranding" are actually created in one world. This is after the former game's easter eggs are found in Guerilla Games' newest action role-playing video game.

Based on a theory from one of the Redditors (MindLeaker), "Death Stranding" may be set in a World War II timeline. The following clues might be the bombing scenes, cannons, skeletal soldiers (who seems to be wearing US Army gears), planes (Brewster XA-32 Prototype), and a "telephone pole" which is said to be a french-styled architecture.

As per the first source note, Kojima mentions that the gameplay of "Death Stranding" "will be significant for its namesake". Meaning to say, the first entry after his other game "Metal Gear" will be related to "death" as well as in "being stranded".

'Horizon Zero Dawn', 'Death Stranding' Might Be Connected After All

However, another note from the site points out the developer's confirmation that his new video game is actually set "in a post-apocalyptic" world. In "Horizon Zero Dawn", the universe is set in a world overrun by robots. This setting could be connected to "Death Stranding" post-apocalyptic universe.

Though there is no confirmation of this theory, there is still a possible connection between "Horizon Zero Dawn", Death Stranding". If Kojima's game is set in World War II and has something to do with not just "alien-like" creatures but also in robots and machines, then Guerrilla Game's Horizon might be set after the events in Kojima's story.

On the other hand, IGN reports Mikkelsen, one of the characters in "Death Stranding", reveals he got lost in Kojima's story about the game. However, he also noted how great the story/game is.

"It's a big honour to be there," says Mikkelsen. "He's just a wonderful, charismatic person; a genius in his field."

"Horizon Zero Dawn", "Death Stranding" are currently the newest and probably the most anticipated games of 2017 and 2018. Guerilla Games released Horizon last Feb. 28 while Kojima's game is slated in 2018.
