3 New Bethesda Games Including ‘Rogue Warrior’ Sequel Is Hinted By Tom Howard Ahead Of DICE 2017 Induction
ByBethesda's Tom Howard has spoken about three new games shaping up for future game releases as the game developer studio venture in new heights. Meanwhile, the executive producer will be honored in the upcoming DICE 2017 as this year's inductee to its Hall of Fame.
According to Glixel, Howard has shared what is next for Bethesda and giving subtle confirmation for a big expansion happening for the studio soon. More notably, this statements does not include "The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim" inclusion on the new Nintendo Switch and the highly anticipated virtual reality version of "Fallout 4."
Bethesda's game director has refused to give specific details by saying he cannot talk a lot about them but quipped that they will be bigger than anything the studio has ever done. Thus, Howard has confirmed that there will be two "classically Bethesda" games and one in the mobile platform.
According to PC Gamer, one of these "classically Bethesda" could be the "Elder Scrolls VI." However, when Howard quipped that the games are "a bit different" from their usual fare another title popped up. He could be referring to Bethesda-published games rather than those they have developed which incites a "Rage" or "Rogue Warrior" potential sequel.
Conversely, Howard will be honored at the DICE Awards 2017 for his works that brought Bethesda its critical and commercial successes, IGN reported. He was quick to share his award with his team as they have contributed to the gaming industry on behalf Bethesda. Howard will be inducted as the latest Hall of Fame member by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.
Before the awards, Howard looked back to Bethesda's past and shared that he is lucky enough to witness how Bethesda has grown. The growth may have been slow but the core group has gone from game to game referring to the journey of his co-developers at Bethesda.
