According to reports from Comicbook, Kurt Russell will play the role of Ego. He portrays the role of Starlord's (Chris Pratt) father.

As per the other articles, Ego has an important role in the new story arc. Aside from playing as Starlord's father, he might also act as more than just one of the most important characters in the movie as some claims that he might be the new villain.

As for when the full details and character first real look, it seems like as the production releases trailer after trailer, fans will get to see the full information about the cast and movie very soon.

Meanwhile, the leaked image of Ego only shows Kurt Russel in his cartoon image.

Based on the reports from Cinemablend, another cast from GOTG might appear in "Avengers: Infinity War" movie. The said character is none other than Yondu.

The speculations started after the actor Michael Rooker was seen wearing a crew hat of the film. Rooker's photo is posted on the actor's official Instagram account.

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" premieres on May 5.
