LG G6 and Galaxy S8 finally have a launch date but apparently Samsung flagship sales will depend on LG G6 for some reasons.
LG G6 Release Date Revealed
From a Korean media outlet, the tech crowds can finally learn when Samsung and LG will release their premium flagships. LG G6 is said to be launched on March 10 at Barcelona's Mobile World Congress with preorder starting from March 2-9, ET News reported.
LG G6 is expected to grab the visitors attention with its high-end specifications. The smartphone is said to ship with Snapdragon 821 chip under its 5.7-inch display. The Nougat device will have 3200 mAh non-removable battery with wireless charging feature, and dual lens camera for its rear unit. LG is reported to shift from modular phone to a conventional design.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Preorder Schedule
The unofficial confirmation suggests that LG will launch its flagship 42 days earlier than Samsung. Samsung will reportedly introduce Galaxy S8 on April 14 in South Korea with global launch happening on April 21.
As for the preorder schedule, familiar source claimed that Samsung will wait for LG G6 sales result. If consumers provide good feedbacks for LG's smartphone, Samsung may move its preorder schedule earlier. Furthermore, the company wants to make sure that it has enough unit supplies for its upcoming premium flagship.
Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will sport similar specs, according to GSM Arena. Based from a fresh leak, both devices will have a different display size. Galaxy S8 will rock a 5.8-inch full rectangle display whereas the Plus variant will have 6.2-inch full rectangle display, each with Super AMOLED technology.
Galaxy S8 series will get 12MP-8MP optics pairing, a 4 gigs of RAM and 64 GB internal memory. It is said to feature wireless charging, iris scanner and Samsung Pay.
