Galaxy Note 8 hasn't been extensively leaked like Galaxy S8 but that doesn't mean that Samsung doesn't have any special thing to offer. In fact, Samsung has confirmed that the Note series will still continue and it will likely to reign this year even after Galaxy Note 7 debacle.
With Galaxy S8 renders, speculations and rants circulating through the web, tech crowds can actually make best guesses on what's to come with the Note 8. For instance, the digital assistant Bixby that's rumored to be integrated with Galaxy S8, might as well be coming to Galaxy Note 8.
Samsung Hello smart home solution could be clear evidence that Bixby does exist and it will be no surprise that the voice-activated AI will feature in other platforms including Samsung mobile devices.
A recent report that stated Samsung will move the fingerprint scanner to the back panel - has left a few fans feeling disappointed. The report was obviously written for Galaxy S8 fans but there is a big chance that Galaxy Note 8 will have such similar biometric scanner placement.
The fans have heard about the Super AMOLED 4K display that will bring an ultimately crisp display to view VR content and this is reportedly exclusive for Note 8, according to BGR. Regarding the S-Pen, the previous patent filing suggests that the stylus will be integrated with a speaker on top.
Galaxy Note 8 Codenamed Baikal
Aside from LG supplying battery for the upcoming Note series, a codename 'Baikal' has surfaced and is believed to be an early naming for Galaxy Note 8, Android Community reported.
However, since there is not much to reveal about Baikal, there is no reason to be excited at this point as no legitimate proofs could confirm Galaxy Note 8 full specifications.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Launch Date
A few sites have mentioned a launch sometime in March. Although the statement is still speculative, Forbes has learned from these sources, that Samsung might announce Galaxy Note 8 on March 29.
