‘Jane The Virgin’ Season 3, Episode 13 Spoilers: Rafael Seeks Jane, Petra’s Advice; Rafael Murdered Scott [VIDEO]
ByJane (Gina Rodriguez) will have some problems concerning Mateo's (Joseph Sanders) school in next week's episode of "Jane the Virgin" titled "Chapter Fifty-Seven." Petra (Yael Grobglas), meanwhile, is harboring another secret aside from her secret relationship.
Petra urges Jane to help out at the school fundraiser so she can be in the preschool director's good side, SpoilerTV reported. Jane is also amped up to have her first meeting with her editor, but she's on the road to disappointment when he doesn't exactly fit her expectations.
Rafael (Justin Baldoni) is being asked by his girlfriend, Abbey (Minka Kelly), to move in together. Rafael isn't sure about the whole thing, though, so he seeks advice from Jane and Petra. Rogelio (Jaime Camil) is facing a lawsuit after he quit his reality program.
Naturally, he sought a lawyer to fix things but the situation only got worse. He's then forced to ask help from his rival, Bruce (Ricardo Chavira). The latter is planning a surprise for Xo (Andrea Navedo) and Jane and Alba (Ivonne Coll) are assisting him.
The 13th episode of "Jane the Virgin" Season 3 airs on Monday, Feb. 27 at 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET on The CW. Watch the promo at the end of this report.
Petra was previously painted as a suspect in Scott's (Wes Armstrong) death, but Rafael may have done the dirty deed. Rafael, however, appears to have been reformed thanks to his prison stint; the man is now content to let Petra be the captain of Marbella.
Rafael as Scott's murderer was hinted at in this week's "Chapter Fifty-Six" episode, according to Bustle. Before the episode ended, Rafael told Elvis (Craig Lee Thomas), "That was close," after police ruled out Scott's case as an accident. Elvis then replied, "It would have been bad for us if they ruled it a murder." This might mean that Rafael killed him and Elvis was his accomplice.
Rafael and Elvis were buddies in jail and even though the former got out, he managed to maintain his ties with his prison buddy by making him as Marbella's new lounge manager. At this point, it's unclear what Rafael's motivations are in killing Scott.
Perhaps Rafael did it to prevent Scott from blackmailing him. The two made a deal that will help the former keep his shares at the hotel.
However, it's also possible that "Jane the Virgin" is deceiving viewers and Rafael and Elvis were only discussing a minor criminal activity, which explains why they were so uneasy about the police conducting investigations at the Marbella.
